Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Vedic marriage compatibility on Suited.
What is Kundli matching?
Kundli matching compares two birth charts to assess marriage compatibility, using the Moon sign and birth star of each person across a set of factors, plus dosha checks. You can read a fuller explanation on our Kundli matching guide.
Is checking compatibility on Suited free?
Yes. You get 1 free compatibility check each month, with 1 question in the Suited AI Astrologer Chat for that match. Premium adds the full dosha breakdown, a 12-year dasha timeline, a downloadable PDF report and 10 questions per match in the Suited AI Astrologer Chat, for 1 report per match. Consultations with Senior AstroVed Astrologers are not included; you can book one separately as a paid service.
Do I need my exact time of birth?
Accurate date, time and place of birth give the most reliable result, because the Moon sign and Nakshatra depend on them. A small error in the birth time can change the outcome.
What is a good Guna Milan score?
As a broad guide, 18 and above is acceptable, 25 to 32 is very good, and 33 to 36 is excellent — but doshas such as Nadi and Bhakoot are read alongside the score, not ignored.
What if there is a Mangal or Nadi dosha?
A dosha is not an automatic rejection. There are recognised exceptions and remedies for both Mangal and Nadi dosha. Suited flags them and explains the context rather than giving a bare verdict.
Does Suited use North or South Indian matching?
Both. Suited supports North Indian Ashtakoot Guna Milan and South Indian porutham, so you can check a match in the tradition you follow.
Is my data private?
Your birth and profile details are treated as sensitive relationship data, are never sold, and are used only to generate your own matches. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
